If you’re using Loadster’s Site & API Monitoring to keep an eye on your endpoints, you probably want to know about problems as soon as they happen – not when you happen to check a dashboard. The PagerDuty integration plugs directly into your existing on-call workflows, so when a monitor detects a failure, it can trigger an incident in PagerDuty with all the usual escalation policies and rotations your team already relies on.
This is especially handy if you have a larger team where different people are responsible for different services. Rather than sending a generic email blast, PagerDuty routes the alert to whoever is on call at that moment. When the monitor recovers, Loadster can automatically resolve the incident too, so your team isn’t chasing false alarms.
You can learn more about setting this up in the PagerDuty integration guide, and for a broader look at how Loadster handles alerting, check out Incidents and Notifications.
